LOOKING FOR YOUR INPUT

If your life was on the line, literally, someone was about to pull the trigger if you didn't tell them honestly...
how would you answer one of these questions.  You may choose the one you wish to answer.

1)  What is the single most important object (something that can be bought or sold) in your life?

2) What is your most valuable asset?

3) Money is no object, but time is, you have 2 minutes to select something for purchase. What is it?

Wanna play?  Run down to the comments and let 'er rip!

  1. 1) I don't think of her as an object, but since dogs can be bought and sold, I would have to say my dog. (I got her from a shelter, though, so I might get shot while trying to figure out if that means I bought her or not.)

    1. LOL...I suppose a lot of people would say a similar thing. Funny, it never occurred to me to even think of the dogs. Excellent choice!

  2. Hi! Found this through the Writer's Post Facebook Group. My most important object is my computer, because it holds all my writing. Or maybe it's the flash drive that I back it up on, because that's what I'd grab if the house was on fire!

    1. Yes, I can sure see that! It's irreplaceable. Great choice.

  3. Even though my dogs can be bought and sold, I don't consider them objects; however, I DO consider them important. If the dogs don't count, I'll have to go with my wedding ring. Besides being a one-carat diamond, it represents a lot more.

    1. I just read that someone else wrote dogs. I didn't see that before posting.

    2. LOL..I think if you have a dog or dogs, it would go without saying...:-) The wedding ring is a wonderful choice. Value both monetary and sentimental.

  4. As always you make me think, Jo. It's strange but there's not a single object I can think of now. I thought of my blog, but it's not an object. However, if it were to go up in 'virtual smoke' someday, I think I'd be fine. Perhaps, I'm finally learning detachment? Now that I've said that I know I'm going to have the Universe present me with a 'detachment test' pretty soon. Will keep you posted, Jo. :)

  6. Money is no object? I would buy a house that is big enough for all 7 of us on about 5 acres.

  7. 1) What is the single most important object (something that can be bought or sold) in your life? Vehicle - I do not care to be at the behest of someone else, trapped, or stuck. I like to get up and go.

    2) What is your most valuable asset? Honesty - forthright. I try very hard to say nothing, if it cannot be kind. I'm a fairly quiet person... lol

    3) Money is no object, but time is, you have 2 minutes to select something for purchase. What is it? Medical coverage for everyone.

    1. 1) I had not even thought of a vehicle...one of those things you just take for granted, I guess. I agree, I love my independence and mobility.

      2) Agree...100%

3)WOW...there is that big ole heart of yours showing through...♥

    1. So you wanna make sure you have a home? LOL I'm kinda with you there, I do like knowing I have a home. And a second home, why not?

  9. You said to answer one, but badass that I am, I'm answering all three.

    1) My house. It's so much more than bricks and mortar.

    2) My ability to really, really connect with people.

    3) Fifteen acres, several of them wooded, with two big houses and one smallish one on the property. The big houses are for my son and his family and my daughter and hers. The little one is for me and my darlin'. It'd be extra spanky if the property was on a little lake and there was a pontoon boat tied up to our pier, but you know how I hate to be greedy. ;O)

    1. Yes, you are badass!

I am pretty attached to having my home, too. Not necessarily this one, but my home.

Did you forget the little red barn? Or are you and hubs gonna build that? That dream of yours is really wonderful and I hope you find it, soon.

And the ability to connect, that is a gift. ♥

  10. My phone.I was later than my friends to come into technology. I was a special needs mom living in her house--running therapy out of her house. I had no contact with old friends, new friends or what was happening in the world. Now, I'm still a mom basically home bound with the needs of her kids, but I have technology in my pocket that has opened my world. It has saved my sanity a hundred times over

    1. I was thinking without my phone, I'd totally be lost! So addicted to being connected at my whim has become my way of life!
      I really get this.

  11. answering #1 (I am not a badass like Beth)
I have to agree with several others on here and say my phone. I have a droid with a shattered screen - but it connects me to my traveling kids and for that reason alone it is invaluable. (the facebook, email, phone, and having music and multiple books on the road is pretty nifty too...and google for quick searches so I don't look like an imbecile and DIRECTIONS to everywhere - since I have no sense of direction) yeah, my phone is the bomb.
