ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are going to have one beautiful place to enjoy the summer when you get done!! After all that work, you will have earned your day to relax in and around the pool! I can just see you lazing away by the pool, sipping on some fruity concoction that sports one of those fancy drink umbrellas, just living la vita loca!! Lucky you!! Don't forget the sunblock!! Great list Jo, and it will give you great satisfaction to check each one of those things off! :D

As much as I have to do in the next few weeks, I know that the end of the list means kickin' back and lovin' my life! ♥
DeleteYou will be soooo busy!
ReplyDeleteI have begun! But it's all fun stuff, work, but the result is a great place to summer! :)
DeleteWith this beautiful weather--I'm already tackling my list. I have my garden out back all ready to go when the time is right to plant. I have been working on my front perrenial gardens and now I just have to get my side garden ready for when it is time to plant the sunflowers. Next up is the deck--and like you, I'll get to enjoy my spring/ summer :) Cheers, Jenn.
ReplyDeleteMe, too. I have 2 of the deck levels done. Just the smaller one and steps left for tomorrow. Then on to the table and chairs. The seats are already upholstered, but all need painting. Next!
Delete:)
LOVE that last one!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! You know it's my favorite! Join me?
DeleteI am with you on sitting on the deck, enjoying the sun, possibly sipping ice tea and writing in my journal, but I'd like to skip the hard work. Your list has such a Spring feel to it, as if you are preparing for shorts, polished toe nails, and fireflies.
ReplyDeleteSweet tea for me! I have 2 of the three decks done and tomorrow, hoping to finish up! Then on to the table set. Lovin' this crazy weather! :)
DeleteYou need minions!!
ReplyDeleteThat would be good! LOL ♥

ReplyDeleteYes, feels like spring but did we miss winter?
ReplyDeleteI didn't miss one day of it! lol I hate winter even if it is mild. This is my weather and then it's warms up! Oh yeah! ♥
DeleteWhen you get to the last one I want to come visit! :D
ReplyDeleteCome on up! It isn't that far. ♥
DeleteYou can come spread your energy at my house. Glad someone's getting things done.

I am! I love this weather so much I can't get enough! it'll be pool time, soon. :)
DeleteSpring is in the air :) Love this list!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is! This early Spring is just lightin' me up! Got a jump on my list and no end in sight! ♥
DeleteThank you so much.
All seem so TIRING, except the last I'm all for that one!
ReplyDeleteMaybe, but I love getting it done! I'm done with the decks! YAY...working toward that last one.
Delete♥
I leave the outside to my Hubby. I'll be in the kitchen...
ReplyDeleteI cannot stay inside when my weather finally gets here. I love working out there and getting things spruced up and ready for another year in the sun! YAY♥
DeleteDo you know what I love most about this list, beyond all the great creative things? They are all offline, working with your hands!! I always find I gain so much more perspective when I remember to keep my body active as much as my mind!
ReplyDeleteAnd feel accomplished besides! ;)
DeleteI finished one thing today! All three deck levels are finished and the base is painted. So now off to the table and chairs. But first, a day off with Momma. ♥
DeleteI hate people like you Jo! I make my living from people who wouldn't couldn't or shouldn't do anything themselves! But I can't hate you Jo!
ReplyDeleteI have a "Mike" but he does my BIG jobs. Like buidling steps when the cement works around the pool gets done! I do the littler stuff cuz I like to. I still need my "Mike" (Ron) though.
DeleteI'm glad you don't hate me. That would ruin my day, week, month, year.
♥
What a happy list, full of summery anticipation. I can almost taste the lemonade, sitting on that pretty, freshly painted deck.
ReplyDeleteI will feel like I really earned my 'pool' time this summer! Lot's of little jobs to get done and I'm peeling them away, one by one.
Delete♥
Have a great summer, Jo.
ReplyDeleteWhen it gets here, I will totally enjoy it! Thanks!

If you win the lotto, you can pay someone to do all of that for you! Well, except for the last one. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI could, but then I wouldn't be able to sit and think, "WOW, I did all that!" I could get used to that, though. ♥
